| Bernhard Willhelm received his Fashion Design Diploma from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 1998. During his studies he assisted Walter van Beirendonck, Alexander Mc Queen, Vivienne Westwood and Dirk Bikkembergs, launching his first collection during Paris Fashion Week in 1999. Willhelm’s distinctive style subverts commercial fashion using a cheeky sense of humour. His clothes find the perfect balance between conceptual design and everyday wearable fashion. |
